To my fellow Asian Americans and allies:
I initially founded Politically Invisible Asians in January 2021 with the mission to share my experiences and conceptualize them to fit into the broader scheme of Asian American identity politics.
However, it is time for me to follow up on the promise I made on my About page.
It is important to emphasize that I am, by no means, a representative for Asian Americans as a whole, and my opinions are not to be regarded as speaking on behalf of my entire community. To complement my limited perspective, I will be bringing on a diverse collective of Gen Z Asian American voices.
My priority has now pivoted to providing a platform for the Asian/Pacific Islander community to share their experiences instead. I began recruitment at the beginning of this month, and we actually have a few new team members. Check them out here!
Currently, I am still in the process of expanding.
If you are interested in joining Politically Invisible Asians or know someone who would appreciate this opportunity, this is the link to the application.
Finally, the most exciting news! We created an Instagram!
Show your 💚love💚 by following us and checking out our posts. You’ll receive updates on when the newsletters will be coming out in advance. We will also be posting relevant infographics related to the discourse surrounding Asian American identity politics and current events.
Here is our Twitter too, just in case you didn’t get the update on that.
I'm looking forward to connecting with you all on our social media platforms! Thank you for joining me, and the rest of the Politically Invisible Asians team, on our journey to decolonizing our minds!
In solidarity,
