That is exactly why people who make these posts and have that level of influence need to make sure they’re properly informed and check their biases, are working with a diverse team of people so they can see different perspectives, and are open to learn about any possible misguidances (and will make this clarification with their followers that mistakes were made if/when they are)
Loved this piece, Jalen! And, I loved what your father said in the beginning of your article. It's incredibly traumatic to see members of your community—or anyone, for that matter—have videos of their violent assault/murder plastered all over the Internet.
